UPDATED 11:20A MONDAY WITH POLICE REPORT:
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Sari Lisa Ross Buchalter, a homeowner in Saturnia Isles, is out of jail but facing a court date for her DUI arrest.
Boca Raton Police nabbed Ross, 40, as the weekend was getting under way and booked her into the Palm Beach County Jail. She was later released on her own recognizance. Ross’ Facebook profile — under the name Sari Ross Buchalter — proclaims that she is “a full-time stay at home mom and I love it!”
She is seen with two young children who were not, according to court records, in the car at the time of her arrest.
Here is the police report narrative written by the arresting officer:
On 7/11/2014 at 0047 hours, Officer Graham stopped a vehicle at about 2100 North I-95 (southbound lanes), Boca Raton, Florida for driving erratically. He observed signs of possible impairment coming from the driver, Sari Ross. There were no passengers. He called me to the scene at 0050 hours. I arrived at 0054 hours. After speaking with Officer Graham, I spoke with Ross as she was still sitting in the driver`s seat with the engine running. See Officer Graham`s report for further.
Ross stated she was coming from a restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach and was trying to get home. She was driving in the opposite direction from her house, which she has lived at for several years. She stated she had 2 Vodka drinks tonight. I was able to smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. Her eyes were red and glassy. Her speech was slurred. Her face was red and flush.
I set up my in car camera and asked her to exit the vehicle. She was walking slowly. She was swaying while standing. I asked her if she would attempt the standard road side sobriety tasks to dispel my alarm that she was driving impaired. She stated she would. She stated she had no injuries and takes no medications.
There first task was the horizontal gaze nystagmus. She was swaying side to side and front to back at times. There was a lack of smooth pursuit in each eye. Distinct and sustained nystagmus at maximum deviation in each eye. Onset of nystagmus prior to 45 degrees in each
eye. Ross was allowed to remove her heeled shoes. I moved my vehicle on a painted line along the roadway.
The second task was the walk and turn. She stumbled and walked off the line on the 1st step. She was using her arms. She did not turn as instructed. She did not touch heel to toe on each step. She did not count her steps out loud. The third task was the one leg stand. She raised her left leg. She raised her arms. She dropped her foot to the ground at her count of 1 and then stopped. She then started to
cry. It did not look like she wanted to continue. She was still crying. I asked her if she wanted to continue or stop. She finally stated she wanted to stop.
At 0120 hours, I placed her under arrest. The vehicle was removed by Emerald Towing. I transported her to the BRPD.
Officer Peck conducted The Intoxilyzer 8000 testing. I asked Ross if she would provide a breath sample. She stated, I will not. I read her Implied Consent. She had no questions. I asked her again to provide a breath sample and she stated no. She was issued a refusal at
0157 hours.
Ross was charged with DUI FSS 316.193(1). She was given the court date of 8/11/2014 at 8:30am. The video was submitted into property. After processing she was transported to The PBCJ.
Ross, according to Palm Beach County court records, had her license suspended earlier this year following an alleged traffic infraction. That case was ultimately closed with ‘adjudication withheld.’
The Mataro Bay Court resident is scheduled to be back in court on August 11th for her arraignment on the DUI charge.

  1. Cant find anything better to write about? You have to publicly shame someone who made a bad decision. I do not care if someone got arrested for a DUI, I do not care if Ms. Morris’s cat got stuck up in a tree and they had to open a can of cat food to get it down. There IS real news out there. Important news that affects us all. Not just one person. Get a clue and write about something meaningful.

  2. the same vile, trash and worthless media oufit that NEVER reports when the charges are reduced, dismissed or if the defendant was found not guilty. just another immoral bunch of TRASH posting people’s pictures, and the charges but never the TRUTH as to what happened. you are pure, vile, pathetic LOSERS who do nothing but troll police reports for your so called “News”

  3. The only pathetic people are these so called adults driving intoxicated putting other peoples lives in danger! Whenever you hear about a DRunk driver causing an accident the drunk person always comes away unscathed while the innocent person(s)(sometimes children) are killed! You don’t like it be an adult and don’t drink and drive morons!
