Palm Beach Sheriff's Deputies Stage Softball Game To Help Officer Fighting Cancer

WELLINGTON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputies are inviting softball teams from throughout Palm Beach County to take part in the Charlotte Hans 2011 Softball Challenge. The event is set for October 30, 2011, from 8a until 6p at Wellington Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road in Wellington.

The cost is $500 per team (you read that correctly) but the money is going to a wonderful cause: helping Deputy Ryan Senkier in his fight against cancer.

Admission is open to the public: $10 for adults, $5 for kids 7-17, anyone under 7 is free. Police will be on the scene to show off their ultra-cool gear, and there will be food and fun for all.

Telephone 561-351-6083 for more information.
