Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department Holds Benefit Today For Deputy Battling Cancer

WELLINGTON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — If you are looking for something to do on this day before Halloween, head on over to Wellington to help PBSO help one of its own — Deputy Ryan Senkier who is battling cancer.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputies are taking part in the Charlotte Hans 2011 Softball Challenge. The event is set for October 30, 2011, from 8a until 6p at Wellington Village Park, 11700 Pierson Road in Wellington.

Admission is open to the public: $10 for adults, $5 for kids 7-17, anyone under 7 is free. Police will be on the scene to show off their ultra-cool gear, and there will be food and fun for all.
