BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — We like to include area school news when it appears on our radar, so we bring you this from Saint Andrew’s in Boca:

The varsity boys and girls cross country team competed in the FHSAA Class 2A Regional Meet on Thursday, November 10 at Mills Pond Park in Fort Lauderdale.  The boys placed 5th in the Regional Meet advancing to the State Championships for the first time in a decade.  Nic Jacobsen finished 13th overall followed by Nick KaleelCole HeathcottLucas MacDonaldFrankie Gorora, Tony Lundberg, and Alex Osherow.
The girls placed 9th overall with district champion Kimmy Schmutz advancing to the State Championships (her fourth appearance) with her 7th place finish.
