Boca Raton Rep. Supports Website Showing Struck Pedestrians

BOCA RATON, FL ( — Boca Raton State Representative Irv Slosberg supports a new state website showing graphic video of pedestrians being struck by cars. The website is

“We need something graphic on the air,” Slosberg told WTSP in Tampa. “We’re going backwards instead of forwards. A lot of it has to do with driver distraction: cell phones, texting, and driving.”

Slosberg’s daughter Dori was killed in a car crash while she was a teen.

The website contains a warning that the video may not be suitable for children, and seeks to reduce the number of accidents and blind spots in Florida.
