Man Wakes Up After House Is Burglarized In Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — This is not how you likely want to wake up. A man sleeping in his home in the 4500 block of NW 25th Way was roused from sleep when he heard a noise. He woke up and saw that the bedroom desk and nightstand drawers were opened and realized that someone was in his home. He called Boca Raton Police who rushed to the scene and found a rear glass door that leads into a cabana bathroom smashed out.

Police canvassed the area and found a witness who reported seeing a black man knocking on the door and a blue vehicle backed into the victim’s driveway.

The suspect fled with two safes that contained two revolver handguns, cash, watches, and jewelry. Additionally, two computers were stolen.
