BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — For the second time in the past few weeks, a high value car in Boca Raton has been found on blocks with the rims stolen. This time, it happened at the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center. A Marriott security guard found the 2011 Mercedes AMG Sport Utility Vehicle sitting on blocks — its rims were gone. The owner confirmed that she hadn’t left the SUV on blocks and removed the wheels herself.

A few weeks ago, as we reported here, BMW was found on blocks with its rims and wheels stolen in the area of Houston’s Restaurant off Glades Road near I-95. No word from police at this point if this is coincidence, or a trend.
