Serious Accident: Car In Canal In Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton Fire Rescue and police are still investigating a serious accident that sent one to the hospital this morning. It happened around 5:45 this morning in the 400 block of West Camino Gardens Blvd. Rescuers arrived on the scene to find a vehicle on its side up against the sea wall.
 
According to fire rescue, the black Dodge Challenger was halfway submerged in the water and no one was inside. 
 
One person was treated by paramedics at the scene but did not want to receive further treatment at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. The second person thought to be in the vehicle was unaccounted for. Divers were called to the scene but were unable to locate another person.
