The homeowner called Boca Raton Police and unmarked Tactical Team units in the area arrived to search the area.  One Tac Team officer crossed over from the Strathmore neighborhood to Boca Madera and noticed a White Chevrolet matching the suspected vehicle in the driveway of 3270 NW 29th Avenue.  The officer monitored the car, which was running with its lights on.  A few minutes later the car pulled out and began driving away.  The followed the car and observed the passenger get out at a stop sign, open the trunk and put something inside.  The driver then headed south on Saint Andrews Blvd.

Marked patrol units began following the car, while the Tac Officer went back to the house at 3270 NW 29th Avenue.  When he arrived, he found a rear slider window smashed out.  Marked patrol units attempted to pull the car over, but it took off at a high rate of speed.  A short time later the suspect vehicle drove recklessly through the intersection of Yamato Rd and Military Trail hitting two other cars.  All three occupants jumped out of the car and ran.  All three were apprehended a short time later.
