Boca Raton Police Arrest 13-Year Old Who Refuses To Do Homework

BOCA RATON, FL ( — Very few details at this point but Boca Raton Police report that they arrested a 13 year old boy who kicked his father during a fight about doing his homework. He was taken to a Palm Beach County Juvenile facility. Due to his age, no names are being released. We’ve posed several questions to Boca Raton Police — including whether the father was injured or if there was another factor that led to the 13 year old’s arrest. We’ll update when and if we receive additional information.

It is our policy not to report information that could lead to a young teen’s identification if that teen is not charged with a felony.

UPDATE: 1/25/2012 @10:47a: has read the redacted arrest report and will not be updating this story, other than to say it is a somewhat sad story of apparently needed discipline.
