BOCA RATON, FL ( — It’s unclear why someone who lives in Boynton Beach would be staying in the Boca Raton Marriott, but police say 53 year old Michael Dudek was, and apparently trashed the room.

The Marriott reported to police that damage is estimated at being more than $1,000.

Dudek, who is associated with “Horticultural Concepts” — apparently out of his home address — was arrested by Boca Raton police and is charged with criminal mischief and damage to property in excess of $1,000.

He was released on his own recognizance from the Palm Beach County Jail.

No court date has yet been set, according to public records.
