BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) —  Heather Siegel Miller, a health care lawyer and senior counsel with the Miami and Boca Raton offices of the Florida law firm Broad and Cassel, was elected to the board of directors of the Palm Beach County Medical Society Services, Inc.

This division of the Palm Beach County Medical Society administers several advocacy programs, including Project Access, a coordinated system of volunteer physician care, hospital care, diagnostic services, and medication assistance for the low-income, uninsured residents of Palm Beach County.

A resident of Boca Raton and a member of the 2012 class of Leadership Palm Beach, Miller has been practicing law for more than 10 years and works with physicians and hospitals on complex health care transactions, contracts and employment agreements, regulatory compliance and federal and state fraud and abuse issues.

She earned a juris doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in New York, a Master’s degree in Business from Baruch-College Zicklin School of Business in New York, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She was named a 2010 and 2011 “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine, an honor earned by less than 2.5% of attorneys in Florida.

“Heather brings to our board an invaluable perspective and a passion for helping the medically underserved in our community,” said Tenna Wiles, the executive director of the Palm Beach County Medical Society. “We are honored to have her among our newest board members.”
