BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — We offered FAU students the opportunity to share their behind the scene photos and observations of President Obama’s visit to FAU on Tuesday, and we are pleased that some are taking us up on that offer.
Charlie Castro writes this (and provides the great photos, as well):Obama
“The scene of a packed Burrow at Florida Atlantic University full of 3,500 cheering fans was incredible. President Obama’s visit created an electricity at FAU, that hasn’t been seen here as students, faculty, professors all waited patiently and listened attentively. Obama related with the FAU students by saying “It’s great to be here at the home of the Fighting Owls.” Remarks like protecting financial aid made the crowd cheer as President Obama’s speech dealt with the Buffett Rule as Obama emphasized that we’re a country that doesn’t give up. Obama urged to call your members of Congress and write and tweet them, and tell them to emphasize fairness for everyone and remind them who they work for.”
