BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Palm Beach County officials this morning are preparing for former WPTV-TV Weatherman Rob Lopicola's first appearance, following his arrest Monday on several charges related to sex with minors.

The hearing is set for 9am.

Lopicola, arrested at his new residence in Wilton Manors, is charged with Lewd and Lascivious Battery, Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation, and Unlawful Sexual Activity with Certain Minors.

According to the extremely graphic Affidavit of Probable Cause which you can read here, Lopicola engaged in sexual acts, at one time in Boca Raton, with minors, and told minors how kids as young as 14 or 15 were “perfect.”

Lopicolo left WPTV a few years ago to launch a personal training business.
