No Injuries In Boca Blaze

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton Fire Rescue responded to a blaze this afternoon but fortunately arrived on location before anyone was hurt. The speedy response led to a minimal damage estimate.

According to Fire Rescue:

At approximately 2:24 pm Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services Department responded to a report of the roof being on fire at 200967 Blanca Terrace. Firefighters responded quickly to discover that the fire was on the exterior of the building located on the second floor balcony and flames were impinging on the roof of the single family home. The fire was extinguished within minutes after the arrival of firefighters preventing further damage to the home. The occupants were home and noticed a smell of smoke and decided to call 911. There were no reports of injuries and damages were minimal. Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services Fire Investigator determined that the cause appeared to be accidental
