BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Congratulations to the Boca Raton Christian School varsity boy's golf team, now on its way to regionals for the first time, ever.

Here's what the school told us:

The Boca Raton Christian School varsity boys’ golf team, with a record of 10 wins, 2 loses, and 1 tie, competed in the District playoffs on October 15, 2012 at Winston Trails Golf Club. The team placed 3rd to earn a trip to the Region 7-2A tournament on October 23, 2012. At the FHSAA Regional competition the nine team field played at the challenging Old Marsh Country Club in Jupiter FL. This was Coach Roger Crawford and the BRCS team’s first trip to Regionals. The team placed 7th ahead of Lincoln Park and North Broward Prep, with St. Andrews and the Benjamin School taking first and second to advance to the FHSAA State Finals. Senior Cole Crawford played his final round for Boca Christian after playing on the varsity team for 5 years. The team this year also included Collin Gray, Charles Bosnack, David Giandomenico, Luke Gifford, and Austin Calder. The BRCS team has been very fortunate to have Delray Dunes Country Club provide home course practice and match facilities for them over the past three years.
