BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — We don’t know what led to the incident, but we do know that 48-year-old Stewart Schiff of Sawgrass Lane in Boca Raton is currently residing in the Palm Beach County Jail after police say he struck another man with steel.

Police say Schiff struck Guillermo Demontreuil in the left leg with “an approximately two foot section of rebar steel” in the 3000 block of North Ocean Blvd.

Schiff was charged with aggravated battery and records show that no bond has been authorized.
