MLK DAY: Open, Closed Today In Boca

 

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Today is Martin Luther King, Jr., day and with the holiday comes an abnormal start to the work week.

Palm Beach County Schools are closed today.

There is no delivery of U.S. Mail, however both FedEx and UPS are operating on a normal schedule.

The Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority advises that it is collecting trash for those customers normally on a Monday schedule.

Banks: individual companies are setting their own policies. Call before you go.

The Palm Beach County Clerk's office is closed in observance of the holiday, as are all courts. Bond hearings for people arrested in the past 24 hours continue.

Boca Town Center Mall and most retailers are open today, however many professional businesses — like law firms and doctor's offices — may be closed or adhering to a flexible schedule.
