BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A 28-year-old Pompano Beach man has died, five months to the day after flying off his motorcycle while possibly, investigators say, he was under the influence of alcohol
It happened on August 19th near the intersection of Judge Winikoff Road and US 441. Junior Dos Santos, police say, was traveling westbound on Judge Winkioff when he drifted towards the raised center median at the turn lane to Sleepy Hollow Way.
The front tire of his motorcycle struck the “raised center median” and Santos was thrown from the bike, landing in the east bound turn lane to Sleepy Hollow.
The motorcycle continued to move, ultimately stopping inside the westbound travel lane.
Santos was transported to Delray Medical Center with head trauma.
He died on January 19th.
