Boca Resident Craig Ehrnst To Be Honored For Volunteerism

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — An important award will be bestowed up on a Boca Raton resident a little later this year. Craig Ehrnst, treasurer of NCCI Holdings, raise millions of dollars for area organizations.

Florence Fuller Child Development Centers, both located in Boca Raton, FL serves more than 625 children who come from economically challenged families. The centers offer reasonably priced childcare, early education and family support programs to prepare families for their children’s futures as well as offer them the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. The Florence Fuller Child Development Centers are also the only centers to offer Head Start and Early Head Start pre-school programs in Boca Raton.
For the 12th year in a row, Florence Fuller Child Development Center will host the Men with Caring Hearts Luncheon, honoring local male volunteers nominated by the non-profits they serve who have made a difference in their communities. The luncheon is a time of appreciation, reflection and thanks to the men who have offered up their personal time, energy and resources to focus on making life better for the community members in the Boca Raton-area.
Craig Ehrnst (Boca Raton resident), treasurer of NCCI Holdings, Inc. was nominated for this year’s Men with Caring Hearts luncheon in the category of Outstanding Male Volunteer. Craig plays an important role in fundraising for local non-profit organizations that NCCI is involved in. Last year alone, Craig raised $5,418 for the YMCA of South Palm Beach County through the sponsorship of NCCI at the Y’s Corporate Cup Challenge. Craig Ehrnst is also actively engaged as a volunteer at the Peter Blum Family YMCA in Boca Raton as a coach, mentor and role model for the children as well as the adults at the center. Craig currently serves as the vice chairperson for the Peter Blum Family YMCA in Boca Raton and was instrumental in helping the Y raising funds for its annual campaign which supports the Y’s financial assistance program.
