BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — If you shop at the Loggers Run Publix at 7060 Palmetto Park Road, keep your purse zipped when you're not using your wallet.
That's the lesson a local woman learned the hard way.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says the woman apparently paid for a prescription with her wallet, then realized it was missing just ten minutes later when she went to check out. She admits to not zipping her purse as she continued to shop throughout the store.
No word yet if detectives have reviewed security camera video. No arrests — or even suspects — at this point.
