National Youth Advocate Program is helping parents and children in Boca Raton.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A new foster family support organization is now helping families in Palm Beach County, and BocaNewsNow.com is thrilled to welcome NYAP to our sponsorship family.

National Youth Advocate Program is a COA accredited 501C3 non-profit organization providing cost effective, community based services and support to children, youth and families. Founded in 1978, NYAP offers flexible, creative, outcome based solutions to meet the unique needs of the communities we serve and the individual needs of the youth and families involved in our programs.

As a response to the critical need currently plaguing Palm Beach County to provide placement for teenagers as well as children of all ages with behavioral challenges and minor medical issues, NYAP is focusing on these populations in an attempt to keep children connected with their communities.

NYAP will be recruiting foster parents who have a desire to help children with some medical issues, behavioral challenges, pregnant teens as well as teenage mothers and those teens that have substance abuse issues.

For more information on becoming a foster parent please call (954) 596-5284 or 1-877-NYAP-CAN or visit us at http://www.nyap.org
