NABBED: Police Nab Parkland Burglar While Burglarizing

PARKLAND, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — We told you last week that Parkland residents, especially in gated communities including Parkland Golf and Heron Bay, were being warned that golf clubs and other valuable items were being swiped from open garages.

An alleged burglar is now in custody.

According to BSO:

On Tuesday morning detectives arrested an individual who was entering open garages in Heron Bay, Parkland Golf and Country Club as well as other communities within the area. He was stealing golf clubs and high end bicycles which he was pawning as quickly as he stole them. Detectives are in the process of recovering these items from local pawn shops. We remind residents to secure your garage doors when you are not present and report suspicious activity and persons immediately to BSO.
