BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Yes, people really do this. A woman apparently liked the 2013 Ford Focus — that she rented from the Boca Raton Hertz location — so much that she isn't returning the car.
Police say the car was rented by Diana Velesquez — or at least someone who had ID saying she was Diana Velesquez — on March 25th. Nearly three months ago. And Hertz hasn't heard from the renter — or seen the car — since.
The vehicle is now reported as stolen.
