BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Perhaps visitors from Uruguay believe that Sears is a place to take things that you like without paying.
Perhaps that’s a mistake that Maria Noel Guecaimburu, 43, will never make again.
She told police she was visiting her mother in Boca while they took her into custody for stealing two rings from Sears at Boca Raton Town Center Mall.
Guecaimburu was ultimately released on her own recognizance on the charge of “larceny — petit theft 2nd degree.”
Unclear if a her next court appearance will take place before she heads back home.
