BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Joanne Luu, the woman who allegedly plowed through a red light at Sandalfoot Road and Route 441 in West Boca while drunk — killing two women — remains in the Palm Beach County Jail. A hearing date is set for Octopber 21st.
The 21-year-old is accused of killing Angelina Farrarella and Donna D’Angelo. Farrarella was 85. Her daughter, D’Angelo, was 54 and an area teacher.The accident happened in Mach of 2013. Luu was arrested in December.
Luu took to social media in the hours and days after the accident to post controversial comments, as we reported at the time:
f…k all you people harassing me about the accident.”
Joanne Luu also posted sexually suggestive photos to her Tumblr account, where she questions her love for her fiance.
She then posted, “I wonder if pbg varsity football has gotten any better.”
Luu also tweeted that “the hospital didn’t help me at all. Thanks a lot tho.”

Earlier in the week, she tweeted, “Godda… fu…ng traffic from all these bad ass accidents.”
Her Twitter account was apparently suspended after BocaNewsNow.com posted her rants.
Luu is charged with two counts of DUI Manslaughter and two counts of Vehicular Homicide.
