Controversial Yet Entertaining Halloween Show Starts Saturday

BOCA RATON, FL ( — The often controversial yet frequently entertaining “Halloween Sound, Light and Laser Show” starts this weekend at the corner of 9th Avenue and 7Th Street in Boca Raton. While frustrating neighbors in years past with live recreations of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and other attractions that often don’t help property values, the celebration of Halloween is now something of a Boca staple — this is its 6th year.

From organizer Richard Newman:

The 6th annual Halloween Sound, Light & Laser Show starts this Saturday at 7pm and runs every night until October 31st. This year we have added many new props, a new tri-colored laser system, new animatronics and an ultra-high-tech blacklight system. The computerized show runs for approx. 90 minutes and then repeats. There are over 30 Halloween themed songs with the lights, special effects and lasers all choreographed to the music. As always all proceeds from donations goes to the “Make A Wish” Foundation.
