BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The US Secret Service is inolved in an investigation into counterfeit money used in the vaccum department at Sears at Boca's Town Center Mall.
According to police, a Sears loss prevention officer discovered that $180 of counterfeit US currency “following a transaction in the vaccum department”
It's unclear if surveillance video was reviewed by police or the Secret Service, which is routinely called in for crimes involving fake money.
