Mizner Park Holiday Tree Dances To Life Tonight

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The annual lighting of the Mizner Park holiday is tree is set for tonight — Thursday night — in the grassy knoll outside the brand new Lord and Taylor. The tree has been learning to dance for the past several weeks and is excited to strut its stuff to welcome in the holiday season.

Here are the official details:

Mizner Park will kick off the holidays with our tree lighting. Our fabulous 47' tree has 27,000 lights and is set to music. Enjoy musical groups from West Boca High School, and FAU. There will be strolling carolers and stilt walkers. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be waiting to greet the children in the main gazebo. Children can also write a letter to Santa and drop it in our special mailbox.

The Shindig Band will perform holiday songs for all to sing along. It should be a fun evening, so tell all your friends and family to come and join in! We are once again supporting Toys for Tots. Please bring new, unwrapped toys and games to drop in our collection containers. Starbucks and The Dubliner are two of our participating Mizner Park drop off spots.

The official City of Boca Raton “Holiday Tree Lighting” is set for next week at the intersection of North Federal Highway and North Mizner Blvd. 5:30-8:30p on Wednesday, November 27th.
