GOING NOWHERE: Flights From South Florida Canceled

A reader in Indiana this morning reminds us why most of our readers do -- or want to -- call Boca Raton home. That really is an igloo on the Weatherbug app.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The pending ice storm targeting the southeast is wreaking havoc on air travel. Already, Delta has canceled flights in and out of Atlanta — its major hub — throughout the day. USAirways, which flies through Charlotte, has issued an advisory and is expected to cancel flights later in the day.

If you online casino are flying out of the region and plan to change planes in Atlanta or Charlotte, your plans are likely changing. Check with your airline before heading to the airport.

Both Fort Lauderdale and PBI provide access to their flight boards online. Just click FLL for Fort Lauderdale and PBI for West Palm Beach.

And thanks to our reader in Indiana this morning who reminds us why South Florida — most of the time — reigns supreme. Yes, there's an igloo on the weatherbug app.
