UPDATE: Brown allegedly poured apple juice over his wife. Read the latest below.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Gary Brown, CEO of Choice Medical Centers — was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail Thursday after allegedly battering his wife. Brown, 58, of 1500 South Ocean Blvd., was released Friday afternoon.
According to the Boca Raton Police arrest report:
“(Gary Brown's wife) stated that she saw a text message on Gary's cell phone and asked him who it was from. Gary became upset and began to yell at her. (The wife) dropped the phone on the sofa and proceeded to walk away. Gary followed her into the kitchen and poured a glass of apple juice over her head soaking her face and body. Gary then threw numerous drinking glasses on the floor and in the sink causing glass to go everywhere. (The wife) stated that she wa afraid so she dialed 911. (The wife) appeared to be shaken up, and was covered in apple juice.”
The report continues with the arresting officer writing:
“I then spoke to Gary Brown who was very irate and uncooperative. He stated that (his wife) threw the phone at hime but missed him and he had no idea how she became covere din apple juice. While in our presence Gary was yelling at (his wife) blaming her for everything that happened. When I asked Gary to calm down he got within an inch of my face and yelled 'F..k you!”
Gary Brown was arrested and charged wtih simple battery.
