Working Fire Reported: Boca Del Mar Apartments

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue confirms to BocaNewsNow.com that firefighters are on the scene of a fire at Boca Del Mar Apartments — the 5500 block of Pacific Blvd.

From Fire Rescue:

At 142 pm crews responded to reports of a structure fire on the 5500 block of Pacific Blvd at Palms of Boca del Mar. Callers reported smoke seen from the doors and windows of an apartment. First arriving firefighters reported heavy smoke and flames from the front of the two story apartment building. Fire crews quickly entered the building and locating the fire were able to bring it under control before there was any further spread. At this time overhaul operations are being performed and an investigator has been called out to the scene. The Red Cross has been contacted to assist one adult occupant that was displaced by this fire.
