Police Investigate Century Village Shooting

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Police are on the scene of a shooting at Century Village in West Palm Beach.

On Saturday, September 27, 2014, at 10:30 am, deputies responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Wellington K, West Palm Beach, location within Century Village. When deputies arrived they found a male victim shot in the torso. The victim was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center. Condition unknown at this time.

We are in the preliminary stages of this investigation. It appears there was a disturbance between an elderly couple, unknown if they are married or not, which resulted in the elderly female shooting the elderly male. Female is in custody.

Detectives are on the way to the scene as well as Crime Scene Investigators.
