DEVELOPING: Chase Starts In Miami Gardens, Ends In Boynton, K9 Credited With Takedown

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (From Boynton Beach Police) — Two men are in custody following a chase that started in Miami Gardens and ended in Boynton Beach.

Here’s all we have at this point: Robbery suspects fled from Miami Gardens in a red VW Jetta and headed north on I95. The vehicle, which was being pursued by Miami Gardens Police and the Broward Sheriff’s Office, struck two vehicles and became disabled at the Gateway and I95 northbound exit ramp at 4:57 p.m.

One black male was immediately taken into custody. A second black male jumped over a wall and fled into a residential neighborhood. He was apprehended by Officer Joe Crowder and K9 Daxxx, who found him hiding behind a house on Northwest 2nd Court.
