Student Battle Of The Bands Set For Olympic Heights High School

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Swing bands from four Palm Beach County schools will participate in a “Battle of the Bands” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22 at Olympic Heights High School. The concert, featuring groups from Don Estridge Middle School, Olympic Heights High School, Palm Beach Central High School and Park Vista High School, is free and open to the public.

Olympic Heights High School is located at 20101 Lyons Road in Boca Raton.

The four bands facing off in Wednesday’s Battle of the Bands were the top finishers in competitions leading up to the finals. The event is sponsored by the Swing & Jazz Preservation Society, an organization devoted to supporting Palm Beach County public schools with swing and jazz bands.
