NAMES RELEASED: Fatal Accident On I-95 At Yamato

BOCA RATON, FL ( — We’ve learned the names of those involved with the fatal accident late Wednesday night at I-95 and Yamato Road in Boca Raton.

Florida Highway Patrol has identified the dead motorcyclist as Shahin Escobar Rezaei, 23, of Tamarac. The driver of vehicle #2 — also a motorcycle — is Robert Debowski, 27, of Coral Springs.

From FHP:

Vehicle#1 and Vehicle#2 were traveling southbound on I-95 when for an undetermined reason the driver of Vehicle#1 lost control and laid the motorcycle down. The driver of Vehicle#2 swerved to avoid Vehicle#1 and lost control and laid his motorcycle down. Both vehicles slid to final rest. The driver of Vehicle#1 was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of Vehicle#2 was transported to Delray Medical Center. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
