BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — We know it’s strange to say photos of a car fire are gorgeous, but we have to say the photos provided by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue of a car fire Friday evening are, in fact, gorgeous.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the Turnpike’s northbound exit ramp to Boynton Beach Blvd. around 5:47 p.m. Friday for a vehicle fire.
“First arriving units,” says PBCFR, “reported an engine compartment fire. Firefighters quickly applied water and extinguished the fire.”
No injuries were reported. Traffic was delayed for a bit. But look at the photos. There are few places in the world where a pastel sky and setting sun mixes with rescuers doing what they do every day.
And yes, we are serious.
