DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2023 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A drowning at the senior living community of Kings Point in Delray Beach left one person dead Monday night.
Sources confirm to BocaNewsNow.com that Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to the Saxony L section of Kings Point around 7 p.m. for the report of a drowning. Within moments of arriving, rescuers determined there was nothing that could be done — the victim was dead.
It was unclear whether the actual drowning location was in a lake near the Saxony buildings, or actually in an individual unit. There is no community pool in the Saxony section of Kings Point.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. There was no immediate indication of foul play. Information about the victim was not immediately available Monday evening.
