BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2024 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A house fire in unincorporated Boca Raton is under investigation Monday morning. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue provided BocaNewsNow.com with these details:
”At approximately 12:45 this morning, PBCFR Units were dispatched to the 22000 block of SW 65th Way in western Boca Raton for a reported structure fire. The 911 caller stated they had come home, and when they opened the door, there was a white haze and a strong smell of smoke.
Initial arriving units found a single story house with nothing showing from the outside. Once they entered, they saw smoke and used thermal imaging cameras to locate the fire coming from the ceiling/attic. The homeowner stated there was nobody in the house, and a rapid search confirmed that The fire was quickly brought under control within 10 minutes of arrival. There were no reported injuries. A PBCFR Fire Investigator has been on the scene.”
The location is south of Palmetto Park Road and just east of U.S. 441. There are no traffic issues in the area as a result of the fire.
