BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — No sooner does Boca Falls announce that is dropping Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) for Hotwire than service disruptions start for Boca Falls homeowners. One awoke to find one cable box inoperable, and another generating the message below.
A call to Comcast results in customer service representatives in Alabama stating that Friday is earliest a Comcast technician will be available in South Palm Beach County. Today is Tuesday. For homeowners paying for cable, let alone with children, this is an example of Comcast’s inability to service its community. Incredibly, some are also reporting phone issues, but Comcast is not reacting to the problem.

  1. This is going to cause more people to cancel comcast and switch to someone else or abandon cable. You need a cable box in each room to watch cable, otherwise you get nothing. No more cable through wires, you need the boxes. This also means higher electric bills because of more devices plugged in and more radiation you’re exposed to because the boxes do give off radiation. I’m sure comcast is doing this to line their pockets.

    1. Here in the Chicagoland area, Comcast continues to raise our prices WHILE offering close to free internet to kids who qualify for free lunch! Most of these parents are lying about their income too! I had to let go of Comcast…..I am still looking for an alternative to TV….But financially, I am struggling too and they had no offers for me.
