BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — It only took five minutes, but a woman dining at Duffy’s Restaurant at 21212 St. Andrews Blvd., says someone stole her white iPhone that she left on a table while she walked away. No suspect information, no word if there’s surveillance in the restaurant, and there’s no report as to whether the ‘victim’ used Apple’s “Find My iPhone” app to find her iPhone, but it serves as a warning to anyone that if you leave your iPhone on a table in a restaurant, it may not be there when you return.

The exact same thing happened to me at Solita Restaurant in Delray last Thursday night after the Xmas tree lighting. Stealing cell phones especially the i phone is such a racquet and unfortunately I did not have the tracking device. It is such an invasion of privacy and very costly to replace not to mention your personal contacts, photos etc.
