BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — We do not traditionally post simple battery or domestic situations — even when they end in arrest — but when a mugshot stands out as being somewhat inappropriate, all bets are off.
53 year old Ilene Hoffman of Boca Raton was arrested and charged with pushing and slapping her live-in boyfriend, according to police. No reports of serious injuries and, while we do not know what was going on behind the scenes of the mugshot shoot, we can’t help but notice what appears to be a grin — making Ms. Hoffman one of the first grinning mugshots we’ve ever seen.

Hoffman was released from the Palm Beach County Jail shortly after her booking. The first photo is from the Boca Raton Police. The second is from the Palm Beach County Jail — and is clearly more serious.
