FAU Cancels All Classes Monday Due To Isaac

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Just in to the BocaNewsNow.com newsroom: Florida Atlantic University is canceling all classes scheduled for Monday, due to Isaac.

According to the school:

Florida Atlantic University has canceled classes at all campuses for Monday, August 27, due to the effects of Tropical Storm Isaac. Only essential personnel are required at respective locations. Dining halls on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses will be operating regular hours for residential students and essential personnel on Sunday and Monday.

FAU's A.D. Henderson School and the Slattery Center are closed, effective Sunday, August 26, at 1 p.m. Classes for Monday, August 27, are canceled.

FAU anticipates classes and normal business operations to resume on Tuesday, August 28. Students, faculty, and staff should check the FAU homepage, http://www.fau.edu, and the FAU Hotline 1-888-8FAUOWL (832-8695) for frequent updates and information.
