DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — We just received word at 7:45 tonight (Saturday) that Police are on the scene of a major accident in the 200 block of West Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach.
This is just west of Dixie Highway and just south of the Boca Raton line.
The Broward Sheriff's Office tells us that one person is dead after being hit by a car.
We will update when we receive more information. Expect the intersection to be closed — or at the very least slow — throughout the night.
