
Who is the man in the hat? Police say he attempted to rob a Boca Raton area bank.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help tonight in identifying the man who attempted to rob a Boca Raton area BB&T.
The attempt took place on September 23rd. The photo was just released Friday night.
According to PBSO:
On September 23, 2013, at 10:49 am, an unknown white male entered the BB&T Bank located at 19631 SR 7, Boca Raton, showed the teller a note that read, “Give me the money from the top drawer. No dye pack”. The teller backed away and locked her cash drawer. The subject turned around and walked out of the bank.
The suspect was wearing a dark hat with an unknown emblem, sunglasses and a tan long sleeve shirt.
