BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton resident Joseph Balliro allegedly beat up his girlfriend because she was upset when he acknowledged that he had impregnated another woman.
According to a Boca Raton police report, Balliro “grabbed the back of her head and began striking her with a closed fist. He then bent her over a railing and continued to strike her.”
The girlfriend escaped to a neighbor's home and called police. Investigators say that Balliro was “extremely uncooperative” and stated that he and his girlfriend were fighting because he “just impregnated another female.”
Balliro was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail for battery where he remains Wednesay evening.
