BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A morning house fire caused damage but fortunately no injuries in West Boca. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue tells us:
At 802 am crews responded to reports of a fire on the 10600 block of Mendocino Ln in Boca. Callers stated they had smoke coming from the attic of the home and were evacuating. First arriving crews reported nothing showing and began investigating. They located a propane grill on the patio that had been cooking oil and had caught fire. The fire was out at this time but the smoke had entered the attic of the home thru the soffits. Crews entered the attic and found no fire, thermal imaging cameras determined there were no hidden hot spots in the attic area of the home. There were no reported injuries from this fire.
