One Burned In West Boca Fire

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Firefighters remain on the scene this evening of a fire in West Boca Raton. From Palm Beach County Fire Rescue:
At 544pm crews responded to reports of a fire on the 10500 block of Pebble Cove Lane in Lakes of Boca Raton. First arriving firefighters reported light smoke from the garage of the home and entered to investigate. Crews found the fire in the laundry area of the home and quickly extinguished it. At this time they are checking for fire extension into the attic and performing overhaul operations.
One person suffered burn injuries from this fire and has been transported to Boca Regional Hospital for treatment.
