BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Florida Atlantic University President John Kelly will deliver the 2014 State of the University address on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium, FAU Student Union, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus.
This will be President Kelly’s first State of the University address since being named president of FAU, in which he will highlight student and faculty successes and discuss key University initiatives that will be undertaken in the year ahead. He will be introduced by FAU Board of Trustees Chair Anthony Barbar.
The program also will include a moving tribute to 9/11, as well as a special performance by former FAU student Carly Jo Jackson, a contestant on NBC’s America’s Got Talent this season. A live webcast will be accessible atwww.fau.edu.
