BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A Boca Raton teenager is learning the hard way that marijuana is still very much illegal in the State of Florida.
Maria Abney, 19, is in the Palm Beach County Jail Saturday afternoon, charged with selling marijuana within 1000 feet of a school.
We will learn which school — and how much pot police allege — when we obtain the full arrest report on Monday.
She was arrested by Boca Raton Police Friday and is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.
